Good morning, ladies and gentlemen!  It's the weekend and it's time for another installment of the song in my head when I wake up.  This morning I woke up with Van Halen's Beautiful Girls on the record player in my mind.  It has made for a solid day thus far!  Now it's your turn to enjoy.

It's Friday and I was once again greeted by a new song in my head upon waking up.  Today, I give you Eddie Money with Two Tickets to Paradise.  Won't you pack your bags, we'll leave tonight!

This morning, February 22nd, brought out my first dabble into the world of hip hop for the morning song in my head.  I can't remember the last time that I heard this song on the radio, but for some reason it found its way into my head this morning!  Now, it's your turn to enjoy.  Here's R. This morning was the first time during this little "Song in My Head" section of my blog where I have been able to pinpoint where the song that was in my head when I woke up came from!  This morning I woke up with Stevie Wonder's I Just Called to Say I Love You in my head.  This song made its way onto my XM Satellite Radio yesterday evening as I was making my way back to the apartment.  But now, it's your turn to enjoy the sweet musical stylings of Stevie Wonder.

After a weekend in Palm Springs, I'm back at it with Internet access and wouldn't you know, I woke up with a new song in my head this morning!  It seems as though I'm keeping it in the classic rock genre once again this morning.  So, with no further ado, I give you Journey with Only the Young.  Enjoy!

This morning I was greeted by a new random song in my head as I woke up.  This morning, was the first of what will undoubtedly be a long line of classic rock songs.  Today, I give you Free with All Right Now.  Dig it.

My friends know that I tend to have very wide musical tastes and actually know even more songs than I even enjoy to listen to.  Also, most mornings I wake up with a random song in my head.  On that note, I figured a solid addition to the severely lacking Looking California, Feeling Minnesota blog would be a quick post of the song that was in my head that morning.  Maybe we can help spread more new music around, or even bring back old memories.
